珍珠，是從刺激物入侵，在衝突之中產生的，
這就是它的價值所在，連新天新地的門都是用珍珠製造。
 
我們或會以為保守自己的心，是保護自己。
當各樣「刺激物」或衝突來到，都會把自己都收藏得隱密，
最後才發現其實已經失去了自己。
 
但我們被造不是為了安舒而活，
而是縱然不舒服，
卻選擇勇敢面對自己心的狀態，
為自己的心負責，不把責任推給別人，
並在掙扎之中帶出正面的改變。
 
自我「保護」其實只像脆弱的泡沫，
但珍珠卻在「保守」自己的心時出現，
因為我們能在衝突中找到更認識自己，
並充滿能力地帶領著自己的心，而不反被它帶領！
 
Pearl, is the formed when an irritant invades. 
This is the value of the pearl,
even the gate of New Jerusalem is formed by pearl!
 
We always think “guard” our heart, means to protect ourselves,
when “irritants” come, we would rather hide ourselves.
Then we realised we just lost ourselves.
 
We are not created for comfort, 
rather, in facing uncomforted,
we can choose to bravely face our hearts,
be responsible for our hearts, instead of shirking the responsibility; 
and bring out a positive influence in the midst of struggles. 
 
“Self-protection” actually looks like fragile bubble,
pearl would be formed when we “guard” our hearts,
as we know more the value of our true selves,
then could powerfully lead our hearts, but not being lead instead.
